Siskiyou Museum Art Maker Space
The museum basement now hosts an Art Maker Space that is open two Sunday afternoons during the spring months. Visitors can either bring art projects to work on or be inspired by on-hand art materials to create something new. Admission is $10 for general use of the facility with additional fees when using significant amounts of art materials. Museum members will be given a discount when buying additional art materials.
The maker space specializes in alcohol ink art, encaustic art, printmaking, a wide variety of children art supplies and more. Donations are gratefully accepted to enhance the maker space.
Spring Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following Sundays:
March 11 & 18, April 29,
May 20 & 27 and June 10 & 24.
Summer days and hours will be set in early June based on demand.
Special hours for specific groups can also be arranged. The maker space will also be hosting several art-related classes. The classes will be announced on this website and also as Facebook Events, so please check these pages often for more information.
