Nor-Cal Jazz Festival gets the BLUES
The 4th Annual Nor-Cal Jazz Festival returns on Saturday, July 28 to beautiful Lee Fong Park in historic Weaverville. Sponsored by the Trinity County Arts Council and the Shasta County Arts Council, this event is part of the True North Arts Alliance; expanding arts and culture throughout the North State.
There will be three acts this year, with doors opening at 4:00pm, music starting at 4:30. Lee Fong Park will be under canopy with a large shade tent for attendees and a misting tent to cool down in.
Opening the show are “The Jazzstronauts” local musicians playing jazz favorites, “The JB Quartet”, vocalist Jeff Bailey singing the great American Songbook and a new twist this year, International Bluesman “Big Mo and the Full Moon Band”.
There will be Wine Tasting hosted by the Weaverville Rotary Club, which supports their Scholarship Programs, a variety of food vendors, beer booth, arts and crafts vendors and more. This is a family friendly event, with free admission for children under 12, when accompanied by an adult or parent. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come enjoy an afternoon of America’s music - Jazz. Coolers are OK, but please no outside alcohol of any kind, glass or pets.
Tickets are just $10.00 in advance and available at Gold Rush Jewelers, the Trinity County Chamber of Commerce, and the Weaverville Farmers Market and online at norcaljazzfestival.com. There will be tickets available at the door for $15.00.
